The National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), a nationally acclaimed organization providing exam-based certification to engineering technologists and technicians, has an open position for a self-starting team player in the Development group. The position works with volunteer subject matter expert teams to develop engineering technology certification tests, which includes conducting question writing sessions, managing the editing and approval processes for program tests, conducting training sessions for development teams, handling the test publication process and other related tasks.
This position requires a bachelor\'s in communications, education, social science, management or other related specialty; prior experience in test development and dealing with technical concepts and language is strongly preferred. Candidates must have excellent written communication skills; ability to apply basic testing principles; and ability to operate as an effective and cooperative team member as well as handle independent responsibilities including the leadership of small development teams.
