Salary: $72,000 - $100,000
Description: Assist with the management of the ACRP certification programs in the two Academies (APPI and ACRP) to meet member needs as well as generate positive cash flow to the Association.

• Manage Department staff in coordination with Director
• Staff liaison duties for the Global Certification Examination Committees for Clinical Research Coordinators, Clinical Research Associates, Physician Investigators, and Non-Physician Investigators.
• Monitor and analyze exam and maintenance program statistics for budgeting projections.
• Monitor all certification exam cycles and maintenance programs.
• Ensure certification programs meet and maintain certification accreditation requirements
• Prepare accreditation provider annual reports.
• Assist with the conduct of research on topics to advance the value of certification.
• Oversee third party vendors and monitor contract adherence.
• Other responsibilities as defined by the Director, Credentialing and Certification.

Cross-Functional Team Responsibilities:

• Contribute ideas and work with other staff to improve the value of ACRP membership across all aspects of the Association.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in health-related fields, RN preferred. Association experience a plus. It is essential to have at least 5 years experience in the development and oversight of certification and accreditation programs preferably in the clinical research, pharmaceutical or healthcare areas. Position requires strong fluency of clinical research or medical concepts, processes and terminology; international experience is desirable.

• Professional and articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication and telephone skills, able to make independent decisions, free from immediate direction or supervision.
• Requires the ability to strategize with and interact with scientific professionals (including physicians).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access), Outlook, and internet applications; ability to rapidly learn new software products.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven business environment.
• Ability to be effective in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills to follow assignments through to completion, with a results-based focus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• High level of customer service skills.
• Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.
• Work as part of a team with the ability to motivate others.

• Department Staff (2 employees).
